WICKED, London's popular musical that tells the untold story of the Witches of Oz, has reached a major new Box Office milestone with an impressive gross to date of £100m at the Apollo Victoria Theatre.

The production has played over 1500 performances since its West End premiere in September 2006.

Executive producer Michael McCabe, said: "This is an incredible milestone for us to have reached. Fantastic word-of-mouth from our audiences continues to produce sustained growth at the Box Office and we are very proud that the extraordinary momentum we have experienced since opening in 2006 has now achieved matured sales of £100m."

WICKED has music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, a book by Winnie Holzman and is directed by Joe Mantello. WICKED is based on the novel, Wicked – The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West, by Gregory Maguire.
