On the 18 March, Jersey Boys celebrates its 2nd birthday in London. The musical which has scooped up over 20 major international awards including an Olivier award for Best Musical in 2009 will continue its run in London throughout 2010.
Jersey Boys is the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons – Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Nick Massi and Tommy DeVito – and how this group of blue-collar boys from the wrong side of the tracks became one of the biggest American and International pop music sensations of all time.
They wrote their own songs, invented their own sounds and sold 175 million records worldwide – all before they were thirty. Their songs include ‘Sherry’, ‘Walk Like A Man’, ‘December, 1963 (Oh What a Night)’, ‘Big Girls Don’t Cry’, ‘My Eyes Adored You’, ‘Let’s Hang On (To What We’ve Got)’, ‘Bye Bye Baby’, ‘Can’t Take My Eyes Off You’, ‘Working My Way Back to You’, ‘Fallen Angel’, ‘Rag Doll’ and ‘Who Loves You’.
Jersey Boys is currently booking through to October 2010 at the Prince Edward Theatre. Tickets from £20 - £62.50. Groups of 40+ £29.50, Groups of 10+ £35, valid on top price tickets for Monday to Friday performances. Call 0844 482 5150 to find out more.
