Two of Portsmouth’s favourite attractions are offering groups the chance to take the panto experience to new heights this Christmas!

The Spinnaker Tower and The King’s Theatre have teamed up to offer groups of 15 or more the chance to combine a trip up the breathtaking 170 metre tower followed by an enchanting performance of Cinderella, complete with lavish sets, wonderful costumes and even ponies, for just £17.50 per person.

Cinderella is playing at The Kings Theatre from Wednesday 7 December 2011 to Sunday 1 January 2012, and stars Tracy Shaw of Coronation Street fame and Portsmouth born Marcus Patrick, who is well-known for his role in Hollyoaks and his triumph on ITV show 71 Degrees North, as the Fairy Godmother and Prince Charming respectively.

The iconic Spinnaker Tower offers a show of a different kind but one that scores highly on the wow ratings! As the tallest publically accessible viewing platform outside London, it gives unrivalled views that take in the Isle of Wight and the constantly changing seascape of activity in one of Britain’s busiest shipping ports – not forgetting a bird’s eye view of the neighbouring Historic Dockyards.

Located in the heart of the shopping paradise of Gunwharf Quays, visitors to Spinnaker Tower can also indulge in some Christmas shopping and make the most of more than 95 designer outlets plus a selection of cafes and restaurants. All in all, a fabulous festive day out!
