The Royal Navy’s premier airshow will take place on Saturday 23 June 2012 at RNAS Yeovilton with an extensive flying and static display.

The Air Station is notably home to the Lynx Helicopter Force, Commando Helicopter Force and the Royal Navy Historic Flight with its rare collection of naval aircraft. The air show will be commemorating 30 years of the Falklands Campaign.

Last year Air Day hosted world class military aerobatic teams such as the Red Arrows, and the Royal Jordanian Falcons. Fast jet action was provided by the French, Belgium and Polish air forces. We hope to have similar foreign participation once again. The finale to the event will be the renowned Commando Assault Demonstration with plenty of pyrotechnics!

Throughout the day, families will also have the chance to enjoy plenty of entertainment on the ground including the Fleet Air Arm Museum, interactive military displays, Royal Marines Band, classic and military vehicle exhibitions, funfair, simulators, helicopter pleasure flights, trade stalls and much more.
