October sees the return of the highly popular Buy Art Fair - the largest art buying event outside London.

With more than 900 artists' work from more than 90 galleries, there is a massive selection of contemporary art and limited edition prints to browse and purchase.

This year will see art talks by prominent collectors, artist interviews and advice on starting an art collection on a budget.

Also new for 2010 is the Cornerhouse bookshop. A favourite on the Manchester culture scene, Cornerhouse is an independent cinema, art gallery and art bookshop.
