Legally Blonde to close in the West End
Legally Blonde The Musical has announced that after three successful years in the West End, its final performance at the Savoy Theatre will be on 7 April 2012.
With audience numbers of over three quarters of a million to date, Legally Blonde The Musical premiered with Sheridan Smith playing the role of college sweetheart Elle Woods. Carley Stenson who took over the role of Elle in July 2011 will continue until its final performance, with Stephen Ashfield as Emmett and Ben Freeman as Warner. They are joined by Peter Davison who continues as Professor Callahan, a role he has played since the show’s premiere.
