Festival fever
Suffolk’s beautiful coastline, broad horizons, skies and landscapes, were a major inspiration for the music of Benjamin Britten, and it was here that he created the first Aldeburgh Festival, in 1948. Since then the festival has grown, and Aldeburgh Music today features a year-round programme of performances - many of them in the Snape Maltings Concert Hall. Situated in a landscape of outstanding natural beauty, Snape Maltings also offers great food and shopping. If you would like to discuss group travel arrangements, or exclusive offers, from Concert Hall tours to river excursions, contact them on the details below.
