You’ll find Moore at Kew Gardens
Another star attraction for groups is The Royal Botanic Garden, Kew, where you’ll find the landmark exhibition and monumental works of internationally acclaimed sculptor Henry Moore. From 15 Sept 07 to 30 March 08, 28 large-scale bronzes will be exhibited throughout Kew’s unique 300-acre World Heritage Site, making it the first exhibition of its kind to be held in London. There have been previous exhibitions of Moore’s work in the capital but never on such a large scale and in a landscape setting. Group visitors can stroll around the gardens and enjoy the sculptures set against a variety of striking backdrops, from the formal gardens and great glasshouses, to the spectacular arboretum. A supporting exhibition in the Nash Conservatory will tell the story of Henry Moore, plus how he worked, his interest in natural form, and his views on the environment. Groups between 10 and 50 can be taken on a tour of the exhibition by one of the site’s knowledgeable guides. For more information, visit their website or call them on the number below.
