| Buckler’s Hard lies on the banks of the Beaulieu River, in the heart of the New Forest National Park. This small shipbuilding village built warships for Nelson’s navy at Trafalgar, including HMS Agamemnon.
Today, the village continues to thrive, unspoilt by the passage of time and there are historic cottage displays to explore, as well as the Maritime Museum which tells the story of this unique village.
Between Easter and October a River Cruise can transport you on a tranquil journey along the Beaulieu River, revealing the abundant wildlife that inhabits the riverbanks.
